About three years ago...January 21, 2009, my sisters and I woke up around 0400 to prepare for your special day. The M&M sisters were determined to be a part of history by obtaining the famous purple tickets to gain Capitol Hill gate access. Unfortunately SIX hours later or by 1000, we were STILL trapped with thousands of other purple ticket holders under the DC 3rd Street SW Tunnel; including disabled Vietnam vets in wheel chairs, senior citizens with their grand babies, a few former Civil Rights marchers, Gold Stars families; etc.
